Arctic Air’s refrigerated chef bases are designed to bring you real, commercial-grade performance at a truly incredible value. All Arctic Air commercial products are tested to NSF levels and must pass numerous quality control inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
The exterior of our ref. chef base models are beautifully designed in a smooth stainless-steel finish for a professional look that you would find hard to limit in any commercial application. More importantly, our products have many features that are desired in today’s commercial foodservice market. Features that include a sub-layer ceramic mat that heavily reduces the heat transfer from the cooking appliance to the cold cabinet/the foam/and the mechanical compartment…this simple feature provides year-after-year of reliable performance, Fulterer™ heavy-duty/telescoping/cartridge style drawer slides/heavy-duty mounting points/full perimeter marine edge on top/drawer slides that will house 4” deep pans in the top drawers and 6” deep pans in the bottom drawers, high output yet electrically efficient fan motors, electronic micro-processing digital temperature control with external digital display, side mounted compressor along with a front accessible side mounted condensing unit for easy maintenance/cleaning/servicing.
Unit also comes standard with stainless steel/hooked adaptor bars, 6 casters (3) locking. Magnetic drawer gaskets are removable without tools.
Features
- Heavy duty stainless top is insulated with a ceramic fabric layer over the foam to prohibit heat transfer to the interior cabinet.
- The top comes with a standard marine edge on all sides and has a 1” (2” overall) extension on each side to allow cooking equipment to sit flat.
- Exterior cabinet construction consists of full stainless front, sides, and top.
- (6) Easy to mount plate casters (three lockable) are standard with all units. ARCB72 comes with (6) casters.
- Stainless steel drawer facings, linings, and frames. Top drawer holds 6” deep pans, and the bottom drawer holds 6” deep pans (pans are not included).
- Each drawer is equipped with stainless steel hooked adapter bars and magnetic gaskets that are removable for cleaning.
- Heavy-duty Fulterer telescoping cartridge drawer system.
- Self-contained capillary tube system using environmentally friendly R290 Hydrocarbon gas.
- Full extension drawers allow for loading and unloading of pans without tipping them.
- Electronic thermostat with an external digital LED display for accurate control and easy reading.
- Front accessible condensing unit for easy cleaning and maintenance.
- Heavy-duty, reinforced mounting points.
- Tested to NSF Standard 7 requirements for open food storage.
- Standard with full two years parts and labor warranties and a five-year compressor warranty.
Warranty
The warranty on most Arctic Air products is two years from date of purchase on parts & labor and five years on the compressor (part only). The exceptions are models ACP40, ACP48, ACP55, ACP63, ACP4SQ, & ACP8SQ which have one year parts & labor warranty only and AWR25 & AWF25 which have one year parts & labor and 5 year compressor part coverage.
Any outdoor install, mobile kitchen, food truck, or unspecified special installed unit has a limited one-year parts & labor warranty only. The warranty is not valid for Residential use.
